At death's door, Neverender is betrayed by the woman he loves. As the Universal Duelist League is paused while Jihye acclimates to her new position as leader of the Colonial Republic, Neverender does the one thing a duelist must never do and falls in love with a fellow fighter. Elsewhere, Radio sets off in search of a body, gaining further autonomy.
